By using Family you agree to these terms. The app is provided by Selectic Inc.
What it is
Family is a free app for calls and messages between people you invited into your family. There are no ads and no paid features.
Your account
- You sign in with a code sent to your e-mail or a QR code from your other device. Do not share codes with strangers.
- You are responsible for whom you invite into your family. The family owner can remove any member; anyone can leave.
- You can delete your account at any time: Settings → Delete account.
What you must not do
- Break the law, threaten or harass anyone, or impersonate another person.
- Send spam, malware, child sexual abuse material or other illegal content.
- Interfere with the service, guess codes or get around its limits.
If a family member behaves unacceptably, remove them from the family (or leave it) and write to us. We may block an account that breaks these terms.
Your messages and photos
They are yours. We keep and transmit them only to deliver them to the people in the conversation — see the Privacy Policy.
No warranty
We work to keep calls and messages running, but cannot guarantee it: connections depend on networks, devices and carrier restrictions. Family is not a replacement for emergency services — call them by phone. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect damages from using the app.
Changes
We may update the app and these terms. We will announce significant changes in the app; by continuing to use Family you accept the new terms.
